Sand Cooler

The SAVELLI SK cooler is designed as a continuous heat exchanger that operates according to evaporation cooling principle. This system is simple and efficient.
Bottom surface is lined with ceramic tiles reduces wear and tear.
Cooling air and water are inserted into a mechanically fluidized sand mass in order to have an optimized contact with the sand grains surface, for the best heat transfer.
The great volume of sand stored in the cooler is then intensively mixed by two counter-rotating mixers. Each mixer has four ploughs that move the sand, both horizontally and vertically, in the cooler basin with an eight shaped movement from the point of introduction up to the discharge gate.
Residual moisture of the sand be-tween 2 and 2.2% +/- 0.2 %.
Fluidised bed sand cooler : (Less Than 40 TPH)
Sand cooler is operated by the fluidized bed method, Probes located at a number of points, sense the sand temperature continuously based on those input water addition by a multi-stage jet system is done.
The computer control program ensures uniform sand outlet dampness and temperature.
Cooling Drum

Due to rolling effect of cooling drum castings in the sand decors them, The consequential evaporation of moisture from the sand continuously reduces the mass temperature, while sensors inside the drum monitor this evaporation, and compensate by adding fresh water to maintain the evaporation process.
